Before You Book

  • Yes — when booking through large platforms, your payment is distributed across several layers:

You → Online Tour Agencies → Local Barcelona Tour Agency → Guide

Monument tickets are often resold through these layers, further increasing the final cost.

When you book directly through this website, the structure is simple:

    You → Guide

You get a more personal and flexible experience, with better value for your money — without paying for unnecessary intermediaries.

  • It really depends on what you’re looking for and how familiar you are with Barcelona.

If it’s your first time in the city, a highlights tour with a private vehicle is usually the best option. It gives you a clear overview and helps you understand the history, culture, and layout of Barcelona in a comfortable and efficient way.

If you’re more interested in art or architecture, you might prefer a more focused experience. A Gaudí tour — including Sagrada Família and Park Güell — is one of the most popular choices. A Picasso-focused tour is also a great option if you’re interested in art and the city’s creative history.

You might also enjoy a walking tour through some of Barcelona’s most iconic areas, such as Passeig de Gràcia or the Gothic Quarter, where history and daily life come together.

The important thing is that everything can be fully customized. There are no fixed packages — I design each tour based on your interests, the time you have available, and your budget.

If you’re unsure, just get in touch with me and I’ll help you put together the best possible itinerary for your visit.

And of course, every tour can be adapted depending on whether you’re a couple, a family, or a small group — always adjusted to your pace and interests.

  • My name is Gonzalo, and I was born and raised in Barcelona.

I come from a very international family, with relatives in Spain, England, Germany, Taiwan, China, the United States, and Australia.

After the 2008 crisis, I left Spain and spent around 15 years working as a professional photographer and translator across Asia. I lived in cities such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing, Taipei, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Manila.

That period completely changed the way I see the world — how places are experienced, how stories are told, and how details shape the way we understand a city.

Eventually, I decided to return to Barcelona and become a licensed tour guide.

Today, I combine that international and visual background with deep local knowledge to create tours that are not only informative, but also intuitive, personal, and engaging.

  • Step 1: Get in touch via email, WhatsApp, or the contact form on the website.

Step 2: I confirm availability and help you choose the best option.

Step 3: We finalize the booking and details.

  • For regular private tours

Due to high demand, you will need to purchase the skip-the-line tickets for the Sagrada Família a couple of weeks in advance. These tickets are non-refundable.

You can pay the rest on the day of the tour, either in cash or as previously agreed.

For private tours involving a driver

I may ask for a small non-refundable deposit one month before the tour to secure the driver and tickets.

The remaining balance will be requested 14 days before the tour date. From that moment onward, the booking becomes non-refundable, as all arrangements will already be confirmed.

If there are any delays on your side, I will always do my best to adapt and make the most of the time available.
